See that? It's a piece of macaroni. Yes, macaroni under my fingernail AND it hurts like hell. I did it yesterday while doing the prior nights pots and pans. I sometimes don't do the pans until the next morning if the dishwasher is full. I know, it should be ingrained in me to do all of the dishes when they are made BUT I just don't. Sorry Mom.Tylenol was not cutting the pain so I took an Aleve (calm down everyone - I already got the lecture about warfarin, blah, blah, blah) BUT it HURTS!!!!! And guess what? The Aleve isn't making it feel any better.

OK I so do not need to see that photo again. Please go see someone about it. Or come over here and I will take it out with a needle! (and I will find one that is almost clean:)

Oh, wow. Is there a way to remove it? Will it just grow out with the nail? I didn't even know that was possible--I hope it gets better soon!
