We got two big boxes yesterday. The boys immediately claimed them and started creating. This means getting out the markers, tape, and bread knives. Yes...bread knives - they used them to cut on the cardboard because I won't "let them use Daddy's utility knife".

Staked up the tomatoes - the wind was really getting to them.

The backyard is now beautified. The toys that the boys never played with went on the front lawn and the neighbors quickly picked them up.

Ahh, it feels good to have that done.

Ian's Creation

Ian has been working on this creation for about a month (on and off). Pieces have been found in every possible place in the house - upstairs, downstairs and in between. Last night, he finished it with a little bit of Kal's help. Now they are trying to figure out how to give rides to the action figures!

First Day of Summer

Friday was the first day of summer break for the boys. This is what they did - the dogs - slept in while I went to work!

Pin Wheel Blanket

I'm not quite sure how big this will get. I made some "modifications" to the pattern (not on purpose) and I'm liking it. I'm using yarn from my stash. It was supposed to be a sweater, but I wasn't so sure about the horizontal stripe. This is the only knitting that my brain can handle right now.

In my humble opinion, it was WAY to cold to go swimming today, but I'm not 6 1/2! He didn't stay in very long (even after he put a shirt on).

Secret agent man... Those glasses give him special powers - they tell him directions of "really tough stuff to do".
