Spinning classes:) There is Susan's Fiber Shop in Columbus - I have not been there but all I hear is wonderful things about the place and she is a master spinner for sure. She has classes occasionally, I am not sure of the level - I bet she would just give you some one on one if you wanted to work soemthing out with her - she has a group on Ravelry - that could be a good resource, mostly locals. I took a class at the Jefferson Sheep and Wool and looked at books - the bottom line is the practice helps too:) Good luck - it's rather addictive, em.
